EURAXESS is proud to present the "Seal of Excellence" quality award by the European Commission! It is given to project proposals submitted for funding under Horizon 2020, which passed the threshold criteria but could not be funded under the available Call budget.
The "Seal of Excellence" identifies promising project proposals which merit funding from alternative sources (public or private), i.e. national, regional, European or international. It recognizes the value of the proposal and supports the search for alternative funding.
Currently the Seal of Excellence is granted to proposals for MSCA Individual Fellowships European Fellowhips and SME instruments.
Only some countries have implemented schemes for funding of these projects.

The seal can be used by individual researchers in their CV-s, but also on institutional level. It is easy to add the seal to your CV or institution profile in the EURAXESS Portal!
