COST Information Day

The COST Information Day in Estonia will be held on the 7th September 2018 in Tallinn. It will take place at 10:00 – 14:00 at the Estonian Academy of Sciences (Kohtu 6).

Registration is open. The information day is in English.

The COST Information Day will offer participants an introduction to COST and COST Actions, including:

• What is COST?
• How does the COST programme work?
• What is a COST Action? How can you participate?
• How to prepare successful proposals?
• What is the added value of participating in a COST Action?

Presentors on the information day will be experts from COST Association headed by president Professor Sierd Cloetingh, and from Estonia - Professor of Tallinn University Anu Toots, Professor of the University of Tartu Jaanus Harro, and Professor of Tallinn University of Technology Kuldar Taveter.

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) is Europe’s oldest research and technology cooperation and networking programme, connecting ideas and people. Estonia is a COST member country since 1997 and more than thousand Estonian researchers have participated in diferent activities.

The information day is organized in cooperation with the EURAXESS Estonia network.

COST infopäeva toimub 7. septembril 2018 Tallinnas. Infopäev toimub kell 10:00 – 14:00 Eesti Teaduste Akadeemia saalis (Kohtu 6).

Registreerumine on avatud. Infopäev toimub inglise keeles.

COST Infopäeval tutvustatakse COST võrgustikku ja COST Tegevusi (COST Action) ning vastatakse küsimustele:

• Mis on COST?
• Kuidas töötab COST programm?
• Mis on COST projekt ja kuidas Sina saad osaleda?
• Kuidas koostada edukat taotlust?
• Mis on COST projekti võimaluste kasutamise lisaväärtus?

Infopäeval esinevad COST Assotsiatsiooni eksperdid eesotsas president professor Sierd Cloetingh’iga, Tallinna Ülikooli professor Anu Toots, Tartu Ülikooli professor Jaanus Harro, Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli professor Kuldar Taveter.

COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) on Euroopa vanim teaduse ja tehnoloogia valdkonna koostöö programm. Eesti on COST liikmesriik 1997. aastast ning tuhanded Eesti teadlased on osalenud tema erinevates tegevustes.

Infopäev toimub koostöös Eesti EURAXESS võrgustikuga.

Kutset võib jagada teadlastele, doktorantidele ja teistele huvilistele.
