What was your main reason for coming to Estonia?
The vacancy of job I applied for and I received. From all the vacancies in East-Europe, I have chosen Estonia, because after little research I thought Estonian could be interesting. Before coming I have never met someone Estonian or knew very few about the country.
What is the best thing about living in Estonia?
To discover the country and the people. The peace you have in your daily life. It is not a stressful or chaotic country. I love my job here. From Estonians I like they are honest people and globetrotter.
How would you describe your career perspectives in Estonia?
I have learned to teach at the university and learned to teach Estonians, both new for me.
What was surprising for you when you moved to Estonia?
I was very impressed how much technological is Estonia! Furthermore, the most surprising was to notice that the Estonian society is a society with no state religion. That makes me thing about the influence of the religion in a community.
What do you miss from your home country?
The food. I actually love our kitchen and products. Of course, I miss the sun out, but I enjoy your 4 seasons too. And I also miss the crowded places. We, Spanish, are very loud people and even if it can be strange, I miss sometimes some noise, not that much silent. Ah! And very important: I miss smiling people. :) And from Estonia the most I will miss is my students!
