Dental care

Dental care is free for Estonian residents under the age of 19. Compensation (28.77 Euros per year) for dental care has been established for pregnant women, mothers of children up to 1 year old and those in greater need of dental treatment because of sickness. There is also additional compensation for dentures. Since 1st of January 2009, all others have to pay the full amount of their dental care themselves.

Dental care in Estonia is relatively cheap compared to average European prices. There are some public dentistry clinics and a large number of private dental clinics.

On the Estonian Dental Web Portal you can find an up-to-date register of Estonian dentists and dental companies. Register in Estonian only
